David William Jordan

Attorney & Counselor at Law

About Us

David William Jordan attended college and law school in the District of Columbia, being awarded his law degree from the Columbus School of Law of the Catholic University of America in the spring of 1969.

Attorney Jordan was first licensed as an attorney by the District of Columbia Court of Appeals in 1969.  For four years he served as a Judge Advocate in the United States Air Force, then an additional four years as an attorney with the General Counsel of the Federal Maritime Commission in Washington, DC.  During that time, he became licensed in New York and California.  Desiring a return to a more rural environment,  the Jordan family moved to New Hampshire in 1978.  For the next three years, he served as a New Hampshire Assistant Attorney General, advising state agencies regarding the tenets of administrative law, and appearing for the State of New Hampshire in all New Hampshire state and federal courts and in the United States Supreme Court.

In 1981, Attorney Jordan commenced the private practice of law in Concord, and he has pursued that career for the past 29 years, during all of which he has maintained his office in the same location, the Patriot Building on Park Street bordering the State House Plaza.  During those years, he devoted considerable time to cases involving claims of defective products, malfunctioning equipment such as cars and other machinery, development of alternative energy sites, regulation of occupations and professions, business organizations, contracts, bankruptcy, estate planning and the administration of estates and trusts.  Success in those areas of law requires the ability to collect, analyze and explain large quantities of information, and the ability to pay attention to detail.

At present Attorney Jordan concentrates his practice in the areas of business organizations, contracts, commercial litigation, bankruptcy, estate planning, the administration of estates and trusts and regulation of occupations and professions. He may be reached by telephone at (603) 228-1151, by mail at Four Park Street, Suite 405, Concord, NH 03301-6329, and by e-mail at jordan@aphoenixrising.com.

Alanna was born and raised in New York City.  She moved to New Hampshire in 1996, and greatly enjoys living in the hills of New Hampshire.
